Underground Production Foreman job available in West Virginia.
Job Location: Beckley Complex, Eccles, WV
Overall Job Purpose:
Responsibilities Include:
- Supervise and provide direction to hourly employees in production and/or utility work
- Plan, organize, schedule, and coordinate with the Shift Foreman all mining and/or utility projects
- Supervise coal production, power moves, belt moves, timber and cribbing, stopping construction, water line set-ups, and other associated activities as assigned
- Adopt and follow the Beckley Complex Safety philosophy of achieving an injury-free workplace
- Actively support and promote the Behavioral Based Safety program -- WOLVES
Required Education & Experience:
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Minimum of five years of underground mining experience
- Previous successful supervisory experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Dust certification or an ability to obtain
- EMT certification a plus
- WV Mine Foreman Certification
